Abstract: In India both surface and ground water, are scare and its&#xD;
proper utilization is must. All flow irrigation system gives about 40&#xD;
to 45% efficiency. Search for, a most efficient irrigation method for&#xD;
private users was studied and solution to this is, pressurized&#xD;
irrigation methods. Perfo Spray System has effective use of Water,&#xD;
Irrigation of steep and rolling topography without producing run-off&#xD;
and erosion, Proper irrigation of shallow soils, Frequent watering&#xD;
whenever needed for germination crop is possible Labor saving,&#xD;
Leaching of salts from saline soils, Keeps crop free from insects and&#xD;
diseases. This system operates with low pressures (5 to 15m), This&#xD;
system has high application rate hence irrigation time is less and&#xD;
hence more are can be irrigates by moving lateral in short time with&#xD;
careful handling Useful for vegetable fields, nursery and orchards.</summary>

Abstract: Most of the cities of developing countries are facing serious noise pollution problem, due to the&#xD;
concentration of motor vehicles and human population within the limited urban areas. The study&#xD;
presents the status of noise pollution at selected signalized intersections of Nashik city,&#xD;
Maharashtra, India. The study is conducted using sound level meter and simultaneously&#xD;
classified traffic volume data is collected manually. The study shows that, the noise levels at&#xD;
selected locations, exceeded permissible noise level prescribed by Central Pollution Control&#xD;
Board. The present study is useful for planning of road alignment, intersection, flyover, deciding&#xD;
signal timings, traffic management, land use planning and to control noise pollution.</summary>

Abstract: The wide range of flow measuring devices&#xD;
are available for use in Open Channels. In absence of&#xD;
guide line and recommendations, it is difficult for the&#xD;
field staff to s elect a particular type of measuring&#xD;
device. It is particularly more true in the case of&#xD;
measuring small discharge (upto 40 lit/sec.) Therefore, a&#xD;
comparative study for evaluating different types of&#xD;
devices for measuring discharge upto 40 lit/sec. (lps)&#xD;
was undertaken as adaptive research. Partial flume, cutthroat flume, Board creasted Weir RBC (Portable) flume&#xD;
s tanding Wave flume and 90° - V Notch were selected&#xD;
for the study as these are commonly used in&#xD;
construction, use and maintenance, experiments were&#xD;
carried out in the Open Channel. Broad Creasted Weir&#xD;
(replogle) of 20 cm sill height tops the list followed by&#xD;
90° V- n otch and portable standing wave Flume.</summary>

    <summary type="text">Title: Bending Analysis of Functionally Graded Beam by Refined Theory

Abstract: A refined theory is applied for the flexural analysis of functionally graded beams. The present study involves four&#xD;
unknown variables which are five in first order shear deformation theory or any other higher order theories. The in-plane&#xD;
displacement field uses sinusoidal function in terms of thickness co-ordinate to include the shear deformation effect. The&#xD;
present study satisfies the zero shear stress condition at top and bottom surfaces of plates without using shear deformation&#xD;
factor. Variationally consistent governing equations and boundary conditions associated with present study are obtained&#xD;
using the virtual work principle. A closed form solution is obtained using double trigonometric series suggested by Navier.&#xD;
The functionally graded beam is analyzed for uniformly distributed load and linearly varying load under simply supported&#xD;
condition. The results are obtained and presented graphically</summary>
