Title: Design and Development of Migration Path for Supply Chain Integration for Manufacturing Industries
Authors: Shahabadkar, Pramod; Shahabadkar, Prashant; Vanageri, Ashok; Hebbal, S.S.
Abstract: Increasing competition due to globalization, product diversity and technological breakthroughs stimulate
independent firms to collaborate in a supply chain that allows gaining the mutual benefits. This requires a
collective coordination framework and migration path to synchronize and to integrate the information
systems and also organizational activities of the supply chain partners. However, existing research in
supply chain integration has paid little attention in identifying and developing a migration path to know the
present level of supply chain among the supply chain partners. Hence, the objective of this paper is to
develop a framework for supply chain integration. In the proposed research, the informational,
organizational and information technology integration is operationalized for the development of Supply
Chain Integration framework for manufacturing industries. Further, this paper includes a comprehensive
understanding of supply chain integration in general and specifically organizational, informational and IT
integration. The developed framework for supply chain integration is validated by a pilot study and it helps
the organizations to know the present level and provides a migration path to move to the next level of
supply chain integration. This paper will add onto the contribution of authors who have ventured study in
the area of supply chain integration.

Title: Work Life Balance a best move to achieve the Employee Engagement Strategies
Authors: Gadge, Shalamlai
Abstract: Industry 4.0 era creates a “smart factory” and
speed of information and technology
increased with great speed. But it makes a life
more problematic and challenging and
overloaded. Astudy was based on 100 sample
sizes chosen with the help of Simple Random
Sampling and Descriptive Research
Methodology has been carried out with
weighted Score Method is used to find out the
perception of the employees about Work Life
Balance (WLB). It also denotes highest and
lowest rank of each parameter which helps
managers to know in which parameter they
are good and in which parameter they need to
pay more concentration. For the study a
structured questionnaire contains multiple
choice questions based on 5-point Likert
scale which focuses on WLB and its five
parameters: Job and Family, Work Interfering
with Family, Family interfering with Work,
Organizational Commitment and Quality of
Work Life. Researcher will like to suggest
few remedial measures on the basis of
Weighted Score for 5 parameters of WLB.
Key Words: Work Life Balance (WLB),
smart factory, Likert scale
