Impact of organizational behavior (OB) in the success of Projects

Title: Impact of organizational behavior (OB) in the success of Projects
Authors: Sankar, Rajeev
Abstract: Project is a unique work for a specific period of time. The composition of the team
would depend upon the nature of work. As created by this uniqueness a successful
project does not wholly depend upon the resources but also on the combination of
people who make up the team. In a global scenario, this is more so in modern times and
the team would be heterogeneous in composition. The proposed research work has the
aim of analyzing the impact of organizational behaviour in project management. Review
of literature indicates that the aspect of organizational behaviour in the field of project
management has been introduced in various fields of science and related its usefulness
in practical applications. Studies carried out on the root causes failure of a project leads
to factors such as lack of attention given when the team is selected for projects of
complex nature. A descriptive research methodology is adapted to identify a relationship
between project management and organizational behaviour principles. In the past such a
correlation has not been attempted realistically, thus it was found that such a study
would be not only enriching and useful but also interesting. Therefore an attempt to this
effect is being made through this research work. The findings will give an insight on
to the relevance of practicable methods to deal with project management at a global
operations level and may serve as input in improving efficiency, ensuring
transparency in business methods and support further research on the subject.

Title: Pareto principle and compulsive buying disorder- an analysis
Authors: Rajeev, Sankar
Abstract: The proposed research work is with the aim of analyzing the compulsive buying
disorder (CBD) in the context of Pareto principle. The methodology adopted is
Hypothesis testing. It was noticeable during the literature review that the
correlation Pareto Principle and compulsive buying disorder has not been
attempted realistically, thus it was found that such a study would be not only
enriching and useful but also interesting. Therefore an attempt to this effect is
being made through this research work. The findings will give an insight on to the
relevance of practicable methods to deal with cases of CBD andmay serve as
input in improving efficiency, ensuring transparency in social life and further
research on the subject.
