The premier regulatory bodies for technical education in India have mandated several services and facilities for the students of technical institutes. These services and facilities not only help in improving the learning environment in an educational institute but also boost the morale of students thereby enhancing the brand image of the institute. In India, the private un-aided technical institutes do not receive any direct financial support from the government for their day to day working. Considering the limited resources at their disposal, the management of the un-aided technical educational institutes may find it difficult to upgrade all services and facilities simultaneously. It is therefore necessary to shortlist services and facilities that need immediate attention and determine the proportion in which the available budget should be utilized for these services and facilities.en_US
