There is a huge competition in the education sector. Only those institutes that can adopt innovative teaching – learning methods and provide quality education will be able to survive this competition. In order to survive and merge ahead, institutes need to carry out detailed analysis of their strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and challenges. This case study presents a mechanism for carrying out the SWOC (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities and Challenges) analysis of an educational institute. This paper focuses on the use of IT tolls for SWOC analysis. Similar mechanism or methodology can be adopted in other institutes for carrying out the SWOC Analysis. This initiative will not only help the institute to focus and capitalize on the strengths, address weaknesses and deter challenges but also help in attracting students of higher merit and improving the quality of education.en_US
